Defect

The bracket securing the solenoid valve that adjusts hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic timer controlling fuel injection timing is improperly designed. At certain high engine speeds, the oil pipe (engine oil return side) connected to the solenoid valve resonates. Prolonged operation under these conditions causes cracks to develop in the oil pipe, allowing engine oil to leak. In the worst case, engine seizure and loss of mobility may result.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the bracket with the corrected part and replace the oil return pipe with a new unit. In addition, add a clip to the oil supply pipe.

状況

原動機の燃料噴射時期を制御する油圧式タイマーの油圧調整用電磁弁を取り付けている金 具(ブラケット)の構造が不適切なため、電磁弁に接続されているオイルパイプ(エンジ ンオイル戻り側)が原動機の特定の高回転域で共振し、このような状態を長時間続けると 当該オイルパイプに亀裂が発生し、エンジンオイルが漏れ、最悪の場合、原動機が焼き付 き、走行不能となるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該ブラケットを対策品と交換するとともに、戻り側オイルパイプを新品と交換 する。また供給側オイルパイプにクリップを追加する。
