Defect
On vehicle transporters, inadequate design controls during production resulted in fuel tanks being installed that have not received type approval under UN Regulation No. 34 and do not bear the required approval label. As a result, the vehicles may not conform to Safety Standards Article 15 (Fuel System).
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the fuel tank to verify the presence of the approval label. On vehicles where the approval label is absent, replace the fuel tank and associated tank mounting brackets with units that conform to Safety Standards Article 15, Paragraph 1 (Detailed Regulations Article 18, Paragraph 1).

状況
車両運搬車の燃料タンクにおいて、設計上の管理が不適切であったため、協定規則第３４号に基づく認証を受けておらず、かつ認証ラベルが貼付けされていない燃料タンクを装着したものがある。そのため、保安基準第１５条（燃料装置）に適合しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクに認証ラベルが貼付けされているかを確認し、認証ラベルが貼付けされていない車両は保安基準第１５条第１項（細目告示第１８条第１項）に適合している燃料タンク及び付随する燃料タンクステー等に交換する。
